But buried beneath her forgotten past lies a secret that could change the fate of an entire kingdom.
The first volume of the After Break trilogy follows one girl’s journey from survivor to something far greater.
About Me
After an unplanned break of 35 years from writing and drawing comics pages, I decided to just write.
Hi, I’m Wayne. I started writing and drawing a comic series from 1979 to 1990 that is unfinished.

I had always intended to get back to art, but after 35 years of not doing it, the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.
So, I decided to put the art on hold and pivot to straight writing. This resulted in “The Scarred Girl”, “The Scarred Heir” and “The Scarred Queen” and the World of Lithaura.
One day, I plan to return to writing and completing the story of The Unknowns, and a couple of other unfinished works, maybe even hiring a comic artist.
Who knows what the future holds.
